I Heart Organization & Electricity!

I have been seeing this little classroom organizer all over Pinterest, finally made my own & luv it!!

It is a hardware organizer- spray painted and labeled. I keep it right up front on the demo table in my classroom:

In the background, you can see the tree painting I did on the wall with one of my favorite quotes!

What's been going on in my science lab this week -

My 4th grade students have been learning all about electricity. Our classroom was wired up & ready to go thanks to my little super scientists! Everyone's circuit was up & running without anyone getting a shock- YAY! Reading about electricity can be a bit BORING but letting the kids figure out how to put their own series circuits together = NOT BORING!

 I had enough wires, lightbulbs & battery packs for everyone to work with a partner so we had 9 hot circuits up & running. The kids were actually cheering as one by one their circuits lit up! I love their enthusiasm it is soooo contagious!!!
