Woohoo! Everybody loves slime! Everybody in the 5-12 year old range. I just put this fabulous fun packet in my store:
I know what you're thinking - you, your kids & your classroom will look like
Well after making slime every year for years & years - I have perfected the no - mess slime lesson & it's really simple: don't make a lot of it and keep it in a ziplock! It really is a great way to teach solids and liquids & kids love making it. They are fascinated at how they can mix together some household items to make it and then even more fascinated at the way it behaves. It opens the door to some great scientific discussions about states of matter. My younger students understand it behaves as both a solid and a liquid. My older students can understand some basic concepts about polymers. Fun and learning for all!
