Earth Day, April 22nd

Every year, America & over 100 different countries join together in celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd. Earth Day is the largest, most celebrated environmental event worldwide. On Earth Day, we remember to appreciate nature & learn ways to protect our environment. I use my Recycle! packet to teach my kids all about recycling:
We read a poem about "Recycletown" & "Garbageville", then create both by reusing milk cartons:
Have you ever wondered what happens to a plastic bottle after you toss it in the recycling bin? Great graphic from Kids Discover:
This is the worksheet I use with my kids:
Another worksheet I use:

I love this little one's water conservation idea:

Earth Day is right around the corner, celebrate!
